PREFACE
There are a lot many people who claim Ishwar or Paramatma is the Hindu god while Allah is a Muslim god. But is that so? Can this cosmos sustain itself with various gods of different religions?
All of us who believe in the presence of God know that there can only be one God. But most of us think that our God is the right one while all the rest of the world religions are following a misguided path. We also believe that the God as well as the religion of others is wrong and only our religion is the right one.
If this is the case, we must ponder what our religion is? Were we having a choice when we were born to parents who believed in the religion that we have learnt to call our own? We grew up hearing the stories and following the injunctions of the religion in which we were born in, not out of our will but due to the choice of someone else. Yet we have developed so much attachment towards our religion that we relate all the concepts, all the values and all philosophies in light of the concepts, values and philosophies with which we grew up.
While we believe that adherents of various other religions are on the wrong and are following a pseudo-path, we forget that others are thinking the same for us. But how could we be wrong? How can this be true that the beliefs that we have grown up with could be wrong. Proof that we are on the right is that our prayers are heard... there are so many miracles we have seen happening, which prove that our religion and our god is the right one. But we forget that others, whom we think are on the wrong, too give the same arguments to justify they are on the right path. They too have seen so many miracles happening, their prayers too have been answered. Again, the question arises... can it be possible that their Allah and my Ishwar or Paramatma or vice versa ... can both be true?
Within a religion itself, our sect is on the right while all other sects are on the wrong. If we are born in a family of Shaivites, we believe the remaining Hindus are on the wrong. If we are born in the family of Shias, we consider all other Muslims to be the deviated ones. But we forget that rest of Hindus consider Shaivites to be on the wrong while the rest of Muslims consider Shias to be on the wrong.
Does this mean that there is no eternal truth? Does this mean that truth is only what we believe is the truth? While we believe in the truthfulness of our beliefs there will always be others who will continue to mock at our beliefs and consider us to be on the wrong path.
Truth has to be clear like a crystal! It should be visible to all and sundry. Stark and factual. The BOOK, One God, One Religion is to find that truth. Once and for all!
Readers are requested to view this BOOK (in four parts) as the pioneering effort to unearth the one and only one path to One God, from underneath mounds and heaps of untruth and waywardness. It is attempt to find the Straight Path that has always remained the shortest path to reach God, which has been the core of all religions and which can be justified and ascertained through the scriptures of all religions.
With such a mammoth task in hand, we request the readers to kindly ignore all discrepancies or errors, be it in research, framing of sentences, style of writing, copy editing, designing or printing. During the course of our study, we found so many scholars and commentators who found error in the word of God, pointing an accusing finger at this or that scripture, saying clearly there is an error here or this word or sentence has been used wrongly. If you preferred not to speak against all those scholars who repeatedly found errors in what is supposed to be the Word of God, we are sure we are not demanding much when we request you to ignore a few human errors here.
INTRODUCTION
Before we proceed, we would like to warn you that if you are one who blindly follows the path of your forefathers, without bringing your reason into play, then you are requested not to read any further. If you promise to keep the doors of your reason open throughout during the process of reading this BOOK, then you may kindly proceed. Be prepared to accept certain truths contrary to your existing beliefs. Be prepared to hear certain criticisms, though all are intended with good intentions and are supplemented with logical facts. Path of the God is one, and if there are many paths that are visible at the moment, it is because all have deviated. Our purpose is to remove the deviations that have occurred so that all come to see the Straight Path - the path of humanity and peace - and to the worship of the one God of the Universe.
Message of this BOOK “One God, One Religion” is clear! “Search for the Truth. Do not be intimidated by external forms and eye-catching colours. Be yourself, that which you really are and not that which you have become. Seek out the Truth with your internal purity.”
It is our honour to present before you the most unusual BOOK from the point of view of its content - a book where few pages randomly read won’t lead you anywhere. You have to give it a patient reading, that too from page 1 and continue reading further. Until you reach page 100 or so, you are not likely to understand the subject of our discussion.
Adopt this approach with sincerity and we are sure you would jump up, from wherever you are sitting. It is such a long reading that we have deliberately tried to subdue and tone down the content so that you don’t have to jump time and again; such is the number of surprises in store for you.
Another reason why this is the most unusual BOOK is because of the extraordinary Divine Guidance that we got. So much so that we have decided not to call it a BOOK written by a certain author.
Remember! This BOOK was possible only because of Divine Guidance and if it reaches you in some form, it means that it is the Divine Will that you should read it. Therefore, in order to keep the divinity pleased, kindly do what is being desired. Read it keeping your reasoning faculties on alert!
People are talking all around that this world is going to end soon. There are great number of videos available on YouTube which prove our point. News Channels are showing various unusual phenomena taking place, which they claim are warning signs for something ominous. There are experts who give suggestions how these things can be averted. We doubt if such divinely inflicted calamities can be averted by technological advances. Social media and news channels have only recently started talking of these signs that could lead to the end of the world, but thousands of years back, Gita had said in clear tone that our own misdeeds are leading to the decay of the world. That is surely what is happening. This decay can be stopped/delayed only by returning to the path that we have forsaken, the One and Only Path to the One and Only Creator of the Cosmos; accepting the path with the deepest purity of our heart and mind ... and treading on that path. That One and Only Creator is the Lord talked about in Vedas and Gita, in the New and Old Testaments and in the Quran.
Hindu scriptures say in clear words that Kalki Avatar will come, upon whose coming dharma will be followed by all. Jews are awaiting the coming of Maschiach, upon whose coming, their scriptures claim, all will follow Judaism. Christians believe their books claim all will begin following the faith laid therein consequent to the coming of the Messiah. And Muslims are waiting for Mahdi upon whose coming all mankind will start following the religion of Quran. Does this not ring the alarming bells? If one of these claims is true, will it mean rest of the adherents will be annihilated? As you read, you will find that all these people are on the wrong... yet all these scriptures are true. Read with patience for this mystery too to be resolved.
The very content of this BOOK is proof that God is not going to watch the world slip by, by being a passive witness. India has remained His most beloved country. It was its people whose love for truth and justice made it beloved. It pains the Lord to see its people digress - digress from the path of truth, wisdom, peace, justice and worship. Truth is bound to be revealed and accepted and the churning has already begun. The One Lord will make it happen...soon!
